Terms and conditions for the SATS app (English version)
1. The service
The SATS App (the “App”) is a software application that provides individuals who have downloaded the App and made a user profile (“SATS User”) with access to workout content, training programs, logs, and other features.
2. The agreement
By signing up for, or using the App, you agree to these terms of use (“Terms”). If you do not accept the terms, you may delete the user and uninstall the App at any time.
The agreement is between you, as the User, and SATS ASA org. no. 996 739 848 (“SATS”).
3. Your use of the SATS App
To use the App, you must:
Be at least 16 years old, or
Have parental/guardian consent if under 16.
Be legally allowed to enter a contract with SATS.
You must create a SATS User to access the App. Your account is personal and should be kept confidential. You are responsible for all activities under your username and password. If you suspect unauthorized access, contact our Customer Service team immediately.
SATS may reclaim or require you to change your username for any reason.
The SATS App is not the same as a SATS membership, which must be purchased separately.
4. User responsibility
The App is available on iOS and Android devices and requires an internet connection. Some features may not work on older devices. You are responsible for keeping the App updated.
You are responsible for:
Using the App legally and following these Terms.
Ensuring your use complies with marketplace rules (App Store/Google Play).
Consulting a doctor before using workout programs or similar, as SATS is not responsible for any injuries or health issues.
You may not use the App for:
Illegal activities or violating these Terms.
Harming our business, brand, or reputation.
Commercial or business purposes.
Activities involving money laundering or terrorism financing.
Harassment, offensive content, or threats.
Serious or repeated violations may lead to immediate termination of your account.
5. SATS' responsibilities
The App may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance or technical issues. SATS does not guarantee uninterrupted access and is not responsible for system, application, or connection errors.
SATS makes no guarantees about the accuracy or completeness of content provided in the App.
SATS is not liable if the App is restricted, delayed, or unavailable due to legal, governmental or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control.
6. Termination
You can terminate your agreement anytime by deleting your SATS User account. Uninstalling the App alone does not terminate the agreement.
SATS may terminate your agreement with two months’ written notice for a valid reason. If you provide false information or use the App illegally, we may terminate your account immediately. We will try to notify you and allow you to correct the issue before termination, if possible.
7. Changes to the agreement
We may update the Terms without notice unless the changes are to your disadvantage.
If a change negatively affects you, we will try to notify you in advance. If you disagree with the changes, you can terminate the agreement immediately.
If you continue using the App after changes take effect, we will assume you accept them.
SATS may update the App’s features or remove services at any time.

8. Privacy
The use of the App requires the processing of personal data necessary to provide services in the App. You can read more about how SATS processes your personal data here: type: entry-hyperlink id: 6Vn05PBYMaGozTDHsVVUIM.
You can give and withdraw consent for the processing of personal data by changing the settings in your profile in the SATS app.
9. Intellectual property rights
SATS owns all intellectual property rights associated with the App, including its content. All material is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You get a limited non-transferable license to use the App in accordance with these terms. Except for private use, it is not allowed to copy, reproduce, distribute or share any material or information from the App without prior written consent from SATS.
10. Transfer of rights and obligations
SATS has the right to wholly or partially transfer our rights and/or obligations under this agreement to a third party.
11. Choice of law and dispute resolution
These terms are governed by Norwegian law.
The parties shall attempt to resolve any disputes amicably. If this fails, you can contact the Norwegian Consumer Authority for mediation.
The EU Commission's complaint portal can also be used if you wish to complain, particularly if you are a consumer residing in another EU or EEA country. The complaint is filed via this link.
If you wish to complain about our processing of your personal data, you can complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority. More information about this complaint option is provided in our privacy policy.
